How to use multiple User Categories

Hi All,

 

We have a requirement where the user name of the employees should be the Email ID (Work) for the employees with work Email ID and their employee number for the employee number for the employees without email ID (blue collar employees).

 

We have tried creating 2 user Categories but its not working.
