What is the best way to handle data source changes when migrating from test to prod

We're running into issues with the data source when we migrate a report from test to prod, The data source in test points to a non-prod Essbase server. It needs to point to the prod Essbase server after migration. Is there a way to modify the export file before importing it into prod or does this all have to be handled manually for each report?
