Hi,

Business Requirement - Supply Plan should be copied first to a back up before being launched as part of daily run schedule. The primary objective of this is to have a back up plan in case anything goes wrong with the main 'Supply Plan' run process. So that planners can fall back up on the back up plan until the main supply plan is recovered. This, I believe, is a common business requirement.

We can certainly use the 'Duplicate' option in Planning Central to copy a plan manually. However, this would be a daily exercise and business will not accept to do it manually everyday. Hence have to automate the copy plan process to create the back up supply plan before launching the supply plan.

Howdy, Stranger!
