Can I 'refresh' item extended description for items that have already been added to quote.

Summary

When we make corrections to part extended description, the only way I know to get the corrected desc is to delete and re-add the part to the quote. Is there a way to pull in changes from the part?

Our architects like to copy quotes that they've used before.  But that will not pull in the current info from the parts database fields.

Is there a function I could provide to update the parts on the quote with current information?
