Data Integration Agent - use a header/fields from source to identify intersections to load

Can I use "header" in the import format to identify columns/accounts that we are loading using the data integration agent as the source

Hi , when using data management and importing from a file we can use the header keyword in the import format to dynamically identify the accounts loading where we have a format with multiple columns of account data values. This requires the header definition to be in the file. with Data Integration agent is this concept still possible to gather the information from the table or do we need an initial record in the table to identify the columns to be loaded.
