Can you expand block and boot volumes online (without detaching from compute instance)?

Student Guide for "OCI Architect Associate" certification says the three options to expand a block or boot volume are:

-- Backup the original volume and restore into a larger one.

-- Clone the original volume to a larger one

-- Expand with offline resizing (detaching the volume before expansion).
