Equity Pickup Rules seem to be available but yet it's not fully released until end of year? Is the order of sequence for consolidation the only piece missing?

Also, the recommendation in order for Equity Pickup to work without the release, UDA’s will need to exist at the entity level in the order of EPU as levels 1, 2, 3 etc. But I don't believe you can add UDA's to the Configurable Consolidation Rules. Would this need to be a custom rule?
