Steps to create a custom job role that provides read only access to Benefits and Payroll subject areas.


Use Case:

A benefits user needs access to a report that includes payroll deduction elements along with benefit plan details. The user being a Benefits user must not have any access to any Payroll application pages and should not be able to create any new reports.

Logic Used:

Break the requirements:

  • User should have access to BI – the access should be read only
  • User should have the ability to run benefits reports. Hence access should be provided to Benefits subject areas.
