Approval Delegation

Hi folks,

We want to create an approval delegation process. I tried using the out of the box functionality to delegate approver by choosing the delegated approver on User Administration page. 

But based on this, the delegated approver always gets notified and has the access to approve/reject quote. In case, if the user wants to delegate approver only during vacations, how can we do this?

Note: CPQ can't be logged directly as we have kept SSO only in Enable for SSO option.

Use case: User X takes a vacation and all his approval should only goto User Y and when User X is available, then User Y should not be able to approve/reject quote.
