Explosion for Make items in Supply plan with respect to BOM

Hi Team,

In Supply planning, is there a way that explosion for Make items happens by referring to 'Item Structure/BOM' in first place rather than Work definitions?

Currently, the behavior is it refers to Assembly item Work Definition and explodes the components beneath it. If no Work Definition exist for FG item then by referring BOM System explodes all of its components beneath it and generates Buy recommendations planned order.

Requirement from our client is, There occurs ECO at item level often for the FG item where they will add new components or replace existing components and the latest effective BOM gets collected to plan and explosion should happen by referring to it & NOT Work definition reference.
