Recommend LOV values in Transaction line array attribute

Hi,

I have an array set in transaction line level, this set contains two menu attribute. My requirement is when MenuAttribute1 value is selected the values in MenuAttribute2 should get show values pertaining to MenuAttribute1. 

In constrain rule we cannot do so I thought of trying in hiding rule. In condition I added MenuAttribute1 equals "New"(simple condition) and in component to hide i added MenuAttribute2 and in advance function I have written code as per the desired return type.

But in pipeline viewer I saw that this rule is not triggered.

Is this the right way to hide LOV values in array or is there anyother way this can be achieved.
