Line Manager Role

Hello...I have the Line Manager role but I am not able to see any direct reports when I go to My Team, etc....I checked my "user account" and I have several roles...I wonder could one of them be blocking the ability to view direct reports? are there any roles that would prevent line manager access to direct reports?
