Changing or removing anonymous content "Report" option in Learn

Has anyone had to "change" the anonymity option when an user actually reported an issue with a course? If so, did you just add fields to the page for them to enter their name or email address so they could be followed up with?
We have had users report technical issues with courses (instead of going through the helpdesk) and there is no way to identify and follow up with them...
