Creating a Select(Single) Lov based upon javascript return type variable

Hello,

We have a Select(Single) type field on the form, the data for which should come from javascript function return type variable.

We are calling a BIP report and getting the XML output in base64 encode format in VBCS. We have written a custom javascript function which does the transformation of XML to JSON which is working fine. 

Now we want to fill the values in input field of type Select(Single) from this JSON output but not able to do so.

Please help us in how can we achieve the same within VBCS.
