Hi all, 

We have few concerns with regard to the data storage options. Please advice.

The Oracle document defines  "Dynamic calc and store" and "Dynamic Calc"as below. 

Dynamic calc and store - Calculates data values of members, and stores values.

Dynamic Calc - Calculates data values of members, and disregards the values. 

 

1. What does it mean by "disregards the value" ? and What is the major difference between those two storage options ?

2. In "Dynamic calc and store", why we cant enter values for members ?
