You may want to aggregate weekly forecasts to a month or to similar time aggregations where the more granular time level is spread across multiple parents. Previously, it wasn’t possible to aggregate to the calendar month because the calendar week might be spread across two months in a weekly plan. To do so, you had to create a plan at the day level which usually negatively impacted performance. You can now combine manufacturing, Gregorian, and fiscal calendars, and the plan will automatically apportion the forecast without the explicit modeling of the plan at a day level.
