Updating Assignment DFF Values based on grade dynamically

The requirement is

Grade field has grade name, bonus plan and bonus %age. Manage Employment page as DFF for Bonus plan and Bonus %age. Based on chosen grade, dynamically bonus plan and bonus %age values should be populated.

For Ex: Grade = GRD69, Bonus Plan = DIR Bonus % = 10.00

whenever employee assignment is updated and grade value GRD69 is chosen, Assignment DFF value for Bonus Plan and Bonus % should be updated to DIR and 10 respectively. This kind of requirements can be achieved using database triggers in EBS, Is there a way to achieve this in HCM cloud?
