Compulsory Beneficiary Allocation before proceeding for other plan elections

Summary: We have an ask if beneficiary allocations can be made mandatory for all employees during elections due to a life event enrollment window, before proceeding to any other plan elections


Content (required): We have been facing challenges regarding beneficiary allocations. despite of making the beneficiary allocation as a pending action item for all our life and AD&D plans, employees tend to ignore the action items. This is causing delays in processing when the sad events such as death of employee happen and vendor needs to process the claim. Due to lack of beneficiary, the process takes longer and sometimes the claim is put on hold as we cannot find any beneficiary for that employee as sometimes employee does not have anyone listed as contacts or dependents!
