Import Installed Base Asset FBDI - Line Breaks

Does the Import Installed Base Asset FBDI used to load Maintenance Assets support line breaks? We have some DFF fields where we want to populate line breaks. For example:

This is line 2

If there are line breaks in the Excel template, the csv gets generated with line breaks causing the load process to fail. The load process requires a single line per record. Doc ID 2655093.1, which relates to Product Hub, suggests to use "/n" instead of the line break. I tested this for Assets and it doesn't work. Is it supported? If not, is there a workaround?
