PBCS: metedata upload - can we activate case sensitive for member's ID?

Hi all

We have a customer who has 1000s of customers and he differentiate some of them with only an "upper case"and "lowercase". for example:


abcdE and abcde


When we upload the metadata via Smartview, the two IDs merge and only one of them if uploaded. I guess this is for the Unique ID reasons.

My question is:

Can we activate a Case Sensitive setting in Planning to allow for such a scenario, or is this not permitted in Planning?

It seem that this is possible if Data Management, but not via smartview.
