Is it possible to set the value of a TEXT dimension using a calc script in PBCS without using groovy

Is it possible to set the value of a TEXT dimension using a calc script in PBCS without using groovy

Requirement: For our O&M bucket, we have different accounts that all represent different drivers - labor, non-labor, shared, credits, etc. I would like to create a comment that indicates the source of the driver.

I have created a tree with these buckets, but it is a little cumbersome in SmartView, and I'm trying to brainstorm a better process. I believe comments are stored in the relational tables, and I believe this isn't possible without groovy. If that is the case, is there another workable solution that I'm not seeing?
