Publishing sandbox in Prod vs migrating to Prod

in ERP Integrations

We would like to use sandbox page composer to make the visibility of some buttons conditional based on role.

But we came across following SR, which indicates that it is not recommended to publish sandbox in Prod environment.

Could anyone please provide the reason why publishing sandbox in Prod environment is not encouraged and the consequence if we do it?

Also, how does it differ from publishing in Test environment then migrating to Prod?
