Summary: We have been provision with IDR last week in stage environments and Prod will come on 19 August.

considering that our Test instance was last cloned in February (and limited time that doesn't allow for a p2t) can we ask for a copy for AL (test to Prod)?

Let's assume that we confirm the ID's are identical for our top 20 suppliers in test and Prod - what are the implication in Prod? Will the copy affect any data in Production or just if any ID won't match it won't do any change.
