DirectEdit - Configurations
Summary: How to control the indexing that occurs from DirectEdit
Content (required): We have DirectEdit applied for our environments. We have noticed through our monitoring tools that the index happens every 15 minutes, like the documentation says it should. We have the following questions:
- Can this indexing timing be changed? Can it be run say, only once an hour or daily?
- Whether or not the timing can be changed, should there ever be a point where customers do not see results? We have a situation where occasionally, but not just one time, different customers have seen no search results on the typeahead on the site. We have done no product pushes in the window of time, so we're not sure why they'd see nothing. Eventually it corrects itself in future indexes (we assume) but we're trying to understand why they'd see nothing when we haven't changed anything to trigger that index.
