Summary:

We would like to understand the prerequisites and consequences of using OCI Gen2 with OAUTH2 - we may have EPM classic - but are not sure, if this is a licence/contractual, data center restriction or decision taken during cloud service activation 1 year ago.

Content (required):

Background: We would like to connect from DWH against Oracle EPM (Planning) via API using ODI. Our IT insists on separate technical users for security reasons and actually prefers usage of Oauth2 based access - not named user/password based access.

They want to establish several connections and we do not want to purchase separate named user licenses for each technical interface (which is running a few times per month).
