Select single selection how to save multiple values

Summary:

I have created an application with select single component where on selection i want to save multiple value like for example in select single if my label is employee number and value is employee name. On selection i'm currently getting only employee name where as i want the variable to hold the value od id, name and other field as well on selection. Please help me as I'm new to VBCS
