Project financial functions are not visible under the Project execution management task page

Summary:

We've implemented project execution management and are now going live with project financial management.

We see different behavior in the test and the production instance as described below.

Content (required):

For a financially enabled project in test, under the project management interface, functions such as manage project financial plan, manage project budget and manage project costs are visible. In the production instance. on the other hand, when we open a financially enabled project, these functions are not visible.

Please see picture below.

I've compared the setup and could not find the cause for the different behavior.

We have only indirect projects.
