loading to FCCS to a different currency via Data Management

I have a location set up in data management to load FX rates from Oracle ERP to FCCS. I cannot get the data to load to the correct target currency (GBP), instead it keeps exporting the data to the 'Entity Currency' Member.

I've set the location up with GBP set as the functional currency

In the target application the currency dimension is set up without a UD column specified

When validating the data the 'Currency Code' column is picking up GBP as the target currency (as specified in the location)

I've also tried adding the currency column to the import format and mapping it using a like mapping to 'GBP' but this still doesn't make a difference, the data always loads to the Entity Currency member.
