Change in LinkedIn Learning (or Other External Learning) Launch Behavior

Summary:

The way our external learning courses are launching has changed. The change is not happening with internally created and uploaded courses or off-the-shelf content we manually uploaded the SCORM files into OLC. It seems to be limited to only courses added to our catalog through the LinkedIn Learning integration through Oracle Learning. We do not have any other external providers for which we could test their content to see if it's limited to LinkedIn Learning or all courses imported via the external content provider integrations.

Content (required):

Recently, when launching external learning within OLC, it opens up a new browser tab in the same browser window/session. Previously, OLC would open the external learning within the OLC eLearning Player in it's own little pop-up (not a whole new browser session). The new player window doesn't have the same "SAVE and CLOSE" button in the upper right corner - making the experience inconsistent for learners.

Howdy, Stranger!
