How does picking work for Maintenance WO?

Summary: How does the picking done in case maintenance WO?

Content (required): If there are 4 new WOs with each of them need same item number of different qty-

Eg - WO1 - 5 qty

WO2 - 6 qty

WO3- 2 qty

WO4 - 3 qty

And in inventory org only 12 qtys are available for that item.

If i run the pick materials, is the system prioritizing the WO material allocation based on its creation date or it just randomly allocates the material to the WO.
