The current Essbase implementation for FCCS includes the view dimension as sparse, and YTD as a dynamic calc member, which prevents Data Management from pulling YTD data directly from FCCS.  The document attached to this post explains the process to implement in Data Management to extract YTD data from FCCS.  The Oracle development team is working on a solution to allow the direct extract of YTD data from FCCS, but this is not yet available.
