To ensure that questions get required attention from community members and are NOT left unanswered, it’s important for the author to indicate (by selecting “Yes” or “No” when prompted) whether the question was answered. (newly added) Please note that it is also important to respond to EACH comment your question receives. Your Yes or No response ensures an accurate status for your question.

Automate Request for Contribution Task Based on Requisition Status

edited Mar 20, 2023 2:07PM in Taleo Enterprise 1 comment

Summary:

We have a business practice for our Recruiter Assistant to review specific req data against Recruiting and what is posted on the career page. We need a way to 1. alert the RA to validate their requisition via email and/or task 2. track if the requisition has been reviewed.

We have thought to use a Requisition UDF; however, we allow recruiters to duplicate requisitions. If it is duplicated, it is expected behavior for the UDF value to flow to the new req, which we do not want to happen.

The most efficient option we have come up with is to use the "request for contribution" action; however, this requires a manual action from another user (Recruiter) to initiate the request. If there was a way to set an automated task to be generated to a user when a requisition is in a posted status, that would be ideal.

Howdy, Stranger!
