Can we query budget balances in General Ledger subject areas?

Budget balances not available in General Ledger subject areas like 'General Ledger - Balances Real Time' or 'General Ledger - Transactional Real Time. Only the 'Actual' balances are there. Is this the intended behaviour or am I facing some issue. SR raised but it's not going anywhere. Please help. Thanks
