Understanding of "Hire Date"
Summary:
We have a big concern that our start dates are not registering correctly in the system.
Urgently could any one of you please help us in understanding the below:
1- Which field is the original hire date? (we currently use the enterprise seniority date field for this)
2- How is the Enterprise Seniority date recorded? (is it when the record is created or the first day so proposed hire date)
3- Where can we record the adjusted service date? (we currently use the legal employer hire date for this)
Biggest concern is that when we complete the action ‘move to HR’, this is the date the system is recording for the enterprise seniority date.
