Summary: Business use case to create draft asset after receiving fulfilment signal from OM (EBS)


Content (required):

Current flow - General flow, Subscription platform involves CPQ-OM(EBS)-OSS(Subscription)-RMCS(Revenue Management) where asset created during order creation, but subscription is created post fulfilment.

Future state design - During CPQ-OM(EBS) order creation requirement is to create draft asset.

After fulfilment, EBS will be sending a signal back to CPQ to activate the asset.

Recommendation from Oracle is to leverage Project Asset Cache (and related API) to achieve this, but couldn't really get more information on how to create draft assets.
