Where are custom notification tasks/actions displayed in fusion?

We have been informed that while seeded notifications actions are added to the user task list, if we create custom notifications, the associated actions/tasks are not. Our question is, where are the associated tasks generated by custom notification displayed in the system? How does a user tasked with the action know it’s there once it’s cleared from the bell icon?
