How to avoid disabled segment values coming up in a find

1) we have disabled and end dated a large amount of values in our entity segment. Even though these values are disabled, they still appear in 'Inquire on Detail Balances' and Smartview reports based on what we have found so far.

We would like to know if it is possible to remove these from any find/search screen?

2) Also we moved an entity from one ledger to another and kept it's value of 160. We also migrated all of the data to the new ledger so it is complete and accurate. When we search for this value, it shows both the old ledger and new ledger data, despite us end dating the BSV from the ledger?
