Import Install Base Asset Load fails with the error You must provide a value for the CUSTOMER_NUMBER

When trying to load the install base assets through FBDI the load fails with the error "You must provide a value for the CUSTOMER_NUMBER attribute." The field is non mandatory in the asset template and no other field related to Customer asset were populated. When trying to manually create these assets it is successful but the Mass upload fails.
