API to query on-hand and allocated quantity in a given location

We need to build logic to deplete inventory through integration based upon some transactions from MES system, logic is to check at a designated location, followed by next designated location. Is there an api which we can use to get quantity and allocated quantity from a given location using which we can use to build above mentioned logic
