Is there a way to call REST end points of business objects from outside of VBCS

HI All,

 

We have just started on VBCS so apologies if this sounds like a very naive question.

 

We have created a few business objects and have seen the endpoints automatically created by VBCS. We beleive that these endpoints can only be consumed from within the application. Is there a way to consume them from outside? Like an ICS flow directly adding rows to a business object using the post end point? If it is possible please let us know what would be the entire URL to post to?
