VBCS Excel Upload Utility - ATP Authentication Masking Limitation

Case -

We are working on a VBCS excel upload utility solution wherein we are trying to upload the mass data into an ATP DB Table by using the Oracle Visual Builder Add-in for Excel.

This utility will be eventually handed over to the business end users for mass data load into Custom ATP DB. 

Issue-

  • Currently, whenever as an end-user we try to access the ATP objects through this excel template it, asks for the ATP Connection Auth & Host.
  • For ATP we are able to give the Host and even the authentication method can be either Basic or Oauth.
