Could the absence of a Promotion transaction potentially impact the Payroll calculation?

Hello,

We have an employee who received a promotion at the beginning of the pay period 3/27/23 and then received an annual increase that take effect on 4/1/23. But, it appears that the system is disregarding the initial salary increase event during payroll calculations.

Upon reviewing the Assignment History, I noticed that there is no Promotion transaction submitted for this employee. Is it possible that this absence of a Promotion transaction could have an impact on the Payroll calculation, resulting in the disregard of the salary increase associated with the promotion?

Thanks.

Howdy, Stranger!
