HSGETVALUE() error with URL but not private connection

Hi All hoping someone can help with the below:

I was able to use HSGETVALUE on a private connection and use the "Build Function" to successfully get a retrieve. But I wanted to use a direct URL syntax, and used the syntax listed in the documentation (linked below). I got an error that one of my dimensions was invalid ("View" dimension). When I deleted the dimension, the retrieve worked...But the members used are identical to the one I used in the Private Connection. So why am I getting that error and what is my data retrieving on if the View dimension is absent?
