Oracle Eloqua Login Enhancements (Jan 2018)
in Eloqua
Overview
With the 493 Eloqua release (January 13-20, 2018), Oracle will be adding security enhancements that will restrict the ability to display the Eloqua login page in an iframe. This change will introduce X-Frame-Options: DENY headers to login.eloqua.com to create a more secure login.
While this change is not expected to impact most customers, it will have a small impact on customers who are currently embedding the Eloqua login page in an iframe, including customers using Eloqua’s Sales Tools.
What's Changing?
Currently there are no restrictions on placing the Eloqua login form in an iframe. This includes the use of embedding the login in third party applications, such as a CRM system, as part of an Eloqua Sales Tools integration.
