GL code combination: rule to enforce segment 5 must not equal segment 1

We have a 7 segment GL code combination, where segment5 (Intercompany) must not equal segment1 (Company). Without creating a cross validation rule for every value (and making sure the process also captures any future values) is there a way to set a rule enforcing segment5 must not equal segment1?
