ADB Excel add-in : Error Add-in could not be started . Re-install does not work.

Hi -

From the Autonomous database tab in MS excel and then clicking on About or Connections givers an internal add-in error "Add-in could not be started"

See attached screenshots. Click on restart brings back the same error pop-up.

Tried uninstallation of the add-in as per instructions below.and re-installed again. It produces the same error.

The following section describes the steps to uninstall the Oracle Autonomous Database add-in.

To uninstall the Oracle Autonomous Database Add-in for Excel for Windows:

  • Delete the manifest.xml file from the Add-in folder in your Downloads located on your PC.
  • Click Refresh in the Office Add-ins window to remove the Autonomous Database tab from MS Excel.
