How to prompt user to select a currency when creating a Negotiation?

Requirement: Prompt user to select appropriate currency when creating a Negotiation rather than using the currency on Negotiation template.

Content (required):

Users create negotiation in wrong currency (that is not matching to the GBPA) and realize the error only when RFQ award completion fails to update the GBPA due to currency mismatch.

We need a way to make the system more user friendly, that would prompt user to select an appropriate currency.
