Creating a Journal Category Accounting Source for User Defined Formula

Hello,


I am trying (perhaps futilely) to create an "Auto Reverse" Function in the subledgers. I have followed the directions from https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/financials/23c/faisl/accrual-reversals.html#s20058366 to set up reversals in the subledger.


The idea is we will set up a category and everything in that category will be reversed, we will set up the Create Accounting and Create Accrual Reversal Accounting jobs to run on a schedule to pick these journals up.


My question is, is it possible to create a source in Manage Sources for the category field? and if so, is it possible to create a user defined formula that selects entries in a given category? I would like to use this in a description rule for a new Journal Entry Ruleset I created.
