impact of global transfer on retroactive transaction

edited Sep 5, 2023 12:32PM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 4 comments

Summary:

Can the retroactive payroll process work on the globally transferred employees for whom we make changes to their records on the previous LE ?

Content (required):

We have the following requirements to fulfill:

Employees hired on LE (X) have transactions and payroll processes for years.

An Employee(s) Globally Transferred to a new LE (Y) within the enterprise on, for example, 1-Oct-2023.

A retroactive transaction (salary change, absence, employment changes, element entry...) on August 2023.

Can the retroactive payroll process that will run on Oct 2023 or later generate the required payroll elements for these changes that happened before Oct 2023?

Consider that we are using the same legislative data group but a different PSU.
