We have a scenario where our customer needs to provide certain end users with view-only access to the Chart of Accounts. As we explored the available roles, we didn't find a direct role that provides this specific access.

Our query to the community is twofold:

  1. Direct Role: Is there an Oracle role that directly grants users view-only access to the Chart of Accounts?
  2. Workaround: If there isn't a direct role, are there any recommended workarounds or best practices that we can implement to achieve this goal without compromising security?
